I went to California with my brethren from another mothren last month!  I’ve been overjoyed with all of the images captured.  So overjoyed I forgot to upload them.  The lens used was a 50mm lens for all the pictures that were taken.  I normally like to change lenses depending on the situation, so I had to be a bit creative.  I called it the 50/50 challenge.

While only being able to use the 50mm lens, I'd  fallen in love with it.  I feel it’s a very personal lens and gets the little details, I'm a sucker for detail.

The Name is Allen... Lex Allen.

“The world is yours, make your mark, do something that matters and never let anyone tell you that your dreams don’t matter!” –Lex Allen

The name is Allen … Lex Allen.  I’m a huge James Bond fan and I also happen to be an upcoming Milwaukee photographer.  I consider myself a full-fledged catcher of life with a keen ability of bringing any image to life. I’m inspired by everyday events like the smiles shared between family members, the formation of clouds, and the beauty and glamour that are involved with fashion. Capturing the essence of a person, place or thing in a portrait brings me so much joy; creating something out of nothing is a beautiful thing.

Black and white photography is one of my favorites; however, I never limit my self or my work to a single format.  Lately I've been delving into realm of the chic and high fashion; it's been helping me think of more creative
concepts, styling the model, and getting a makeup artist involved to keep this creative mind of mine on its toes!  With creativity, I believe one shouldn’t limit themselves to a box; there is an endless realm of creativity to be explored, why limit your abilities?

I’m excited to share my work, receive feedback, and hear what you all are doing to expand your creative world.  If you are a lover of life and photography we already have something in common.  I love to learn, so teach me a few tips and tricks that will help me grow as a photographer.  I am always looking to answer questions, so don’t be shy.  Join my world and get to know me through my stories and my work.  Voice your opinions and let me know how certain images make you feel.  Ask me questions and lets allow our creative minds to grow together!
